Democratic culture and Hamas

So many people refer to the Hamas government as "democratically elected". Well, the situation in Gaza and the West Bank just goes to show that it's not enough to have elections in order to have democracy - you need a democratic culture - a culture that uses words to settle differences in society, not bullets and mortars. And if you blame Israel, or the West, for this situation – then it means you treat the Palestinians as nothing more than naughty children with no responsibility whatsoever!

Hamas said they don't want any multinational force. It seems they're winning this bloodbath. Fatah people dragged on the street and executed.
It's the triumph of fundamentalism, the triumph of Iran and Syria, who back and finance them. And not a single word against them from the UN and the EU.
