There are thousands of international troops in Afghanistan, and millions of dollars in aid has been spent there. According to the International Committee of the Red Cross, life for ordinary people is getting worse.
For me, the situation is "worsening" because a group of Islamofascist terrorists continue to attack & terrorize Afghanistan in order to regain power. Let's not forget that the only reason the US & other forces are in Afghanistan is that the Taliban gave aid & sanctuary to Al Qaeda in it's planning & training for it's terrorist attack on the US in 2001. The Taliban were complicit in this overt act of war against the US & were rightfully attacked & forced from power. No Taliban & Al Qaeda means no war.
