Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa lobby for animal trade

Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa say animal trade brings money to needy communities and can even generate conservation funds. Zimbabwe is one of the nations in favor of this; would YOU trust them to regulate the trade?

Given Africa's record on corruption and misappropriation of American and European aid money into either the overseas bank accounts of African government officials or funds for buying more weapons does anyone seriously believe profits from this Ivory trade will "bring money to needy communities and even generate conservation funds."?

Trade in wildlife or products derived from them is an abomination and should be absolutely illegal, everywhere, in all circumstances. Humanity has done enough damage to this planet, and it's high time it stopped.
