Russia-EU summit

I salute the attitude of the European Union in the matter of the various conflicts with Russia. For centuries Russia had been used to bullying its smaller neighbors with impunity, it is now time it is taught to treat them as equals. The Russian minority in Estonia have rights (like the right to learn the language of the country they live in and thus apply for full citizenship). And yes, a monument glorifying an army that replaced a cruel tyranny with a worse one should not be allowed to stand.

The problems with Russia will always exist while it is determined to bully its neighbours. Comments that little states along the border are trying to stir up trouble simply confirm this attitude and are a reason why these states need support from their allies. The West needs to remain firm and not give in to Russian demands simply because they are desperate for Russian oil and gas. If they do, they will be held to ransom.
