Can we live with death tax?

Over the past few years, conservative members of Congress have devoted considerable energy to efforts to repeal the estate tax.

Warren Buffett, George Soros and William Gates Sr. are liberals, so quoting liberals in favor of raising taxes is like me quoting my dog as wanting steak.

The estate tax is grossly wasteful in that it leads to an enormous expenditure on trusts and other tax dodges. Simply have a final reckoning though income taxes and stop the shenanigans of "estate planners and lawyers".

Sues somehow confuses Medicaid coverage of nursing homes with estate taxes, indicating that she, like Andy Jacobs, basically can't string together coherent thoughts. Of COURSE the government shouldn't pick up the tab for helping someone when that person has the resources to take care of themselves.
