UN must take actions against terrorism

Clamping down on terrorist groups and their sponsors (both private and state) would be an auspicious start. Improving education for the masses in poorer countries would also help to keep vulnerable children out of the clutches of dangerous lunatics who wish to indoctrinate them for their own ends.

I think that the UN should focus on the Middle East, where terrorists are educated and war is a constant affair. I think that holding talks with the more influential groups there, even ones like Hamas, would help both sides. If talking does not work, then instead of just threatening sanctions, there should be real sanctions. If that doesn't work, use more force. If "keeping the peace" means standing around while people kill each other, then the UN should step it up and MAKE peace instead.
