On France strike

Recently, France has ruled that all EU nationals residing in France, not working and who have not reached retirement age are not eligible for the national heath care coverage. Why then does this elite class of French workers who have the luxury to retire 15 years ahead of their their fellow citizens and immigrants, believe that these lavish treats are their inalienable rights? Certainly these workers must come to terms with the concept of equality and those workers rights need to be shared.

The debate is about unifying pension systems in France and ensuring a reasonable balance between duration of work and pension. The future generations will not be able to finance the present special systems, whereby 1 active person should care for 1.75 pensioned. It is unpleasant to face this reality, but why should 10% of the population enjoy a privilege at the always heavier costs of the others?
