Bush wars

What has Bush done for America? Well, he attacked the Taliban, but didn't get rid of them. He got rid of Saddam, which was cool, but now he's having trouble stabilizing Iraq. How many more American dollars are we going to pour into Iraq? Wouldn't Americans prefer that money to go to American schools and border security? We've been sold that Iraq is just one small battle in the war against terror, which in part is true, but it seems like our resources would be better spent fighting Syria, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia...the real terrorist supporters. It seems all out resources are being wasted in the wrong area, if we are serious about stamping out terrorism.

And that's another thing, al-Qaeda attacked us. Why isn't Priority One to weed out the al-Qaeda cells throughout the world? Seems like slow-going to me, but maybe it's just easier said than done.

The American economy has been floundering since Bush took office, although we might see some gains this year. There are still a lot of issues in America that need to be addressed before we ship more dollars to the Middle East.
